Description
Because teams in the NBA may have played several fewer games than their opponents, sorting the standings table by win percentage can be incorrect. For example, OKC 15-4 .789, MEM 13-3 .812, and SA 14-4 .778 all show tied for first place, but should show OKC alone in first place with MEM and SA one-half game behind.
