Description
Currently the top 4 in the standings (on the site) are: 1. Golden State (3-0) 2. Memphis (4-0) 3. Houston (4-0) 4. Denver (1-1) However, if I'm not mistaken, Memphis and Houston should be 1 and 2 (same division, but more wins from non-div leader is better than other division leaders) with Golden State and Denver rounding out the top 4. Just looking at the standings and seeing Golden State 0.5 game back, but in first place doesn't seem correct. Could possibly be an issue of winning percentage being taken into account before games back? Thanks for all your work! The API is great.

Per comment below and also see Golden State is listed first on nba.com's own conference standings page. http://www.nba.com/standings/team_record_comparison/conferenceNew_Std_Cnf.html

It can be confusing early in the season since a few teams are either perfect or winless and have played an unbalanced number of games. Games back sounds logical, but the NBA doesn't use it to determine order. The reason why Golden State is listed first is because they have a better conference record against playoff teams in their conference (Portland and Sac) while Houston and Memphis have not played any playoff teams in their conference yet. This is tiebreaker #5 at /nba/standings.
